William Kluback was Professor of Philosophy specializing in Hermann Cohen and neo-Kantians. In his passionate quest for a «dwelling for the spiritual,» he abandoned the philosophers, and toward the end of his life, turned to poets or poet-philosophers such as Paul Valery and Benjamin Fondane.
