JAMES FLEMING WOODWARD, Allegheny county, was born at New Brighton, Beaver county, Pa., February 19, 1868; in 1872 he removed with his parents to Pittsburg and later to Allegheny; educated in the public schools of Pittsburg and Allegheny and the Western Pennsylvania University; served as clerk in the county commissioners' office for two years and was then appointed bookkeeper and assistant to the Superintendent at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital; in 1834 was appointed superintendent of McKeesport Hospital, which position he still occupies; is a director of the McKeesport Realty Company and has been vicechairman of the Republican city committee; is vice-president of the Imperial Assurance Company of Pittsburg. and director of the National Securities Company of Pennsylvania; elected to the House of Representatives in 1904 and 1906; re-elected in November, 1908. JOHN W. WOODWARD, Schuylkill County, was born in Jonestown, Schuylkill County. Pa.. November 29, 1860; at the age of six years removed to Minersville, where he attended the public schools; at ten years of age he began work in and around the coal mines and continued until 1883, when he engaged in the wholesale and retail tobacco business; has been assessor for five years; is a director of the Union National Bank, of Minersville; was appointed tax receiver in 1857 and elected to the same office in 1900; served as delegate to Republican state convention in 1902; elected to the House of Representatives in 1904; again elected in November, 1908.

LEWIS B. ZANER, Sullivan County, was born in Cherry township, Sullivan County, Pa.. December 31, 1865; educated in the common schools; was engaged in the manufacture of essential oils for seven years; has served as school director; at present is engaged in farming and the sale of mine timber; elected to the House of Representatives in November, 1908.
