AND his disciples answered him, From whence 4 can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness?

AND he asked them, How many loaves have ye? | 5 And they said, Seven.

AND he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people.

6

AND they had a few small fishes: and he blessed,
and commanded to set them also before them.
SO THEY did eat, and were filled: and they
took up of the broken meat that was left seven
baskets.

9 AND they that had eaten were about four thousand: and he sent them away.

10 AND straightway he entered into a ship with his disciples, and came into the parts of Dalmanutha.

26 AND he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in

NEAR CESAREA PHILIPPI. MATTHEW XVII: 14-21.

ND when they were come to the multitude, 14

A there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,

LORD, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, 15 and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.

AND I brought him to thy disciples, and they 16 could not cure him.

THEN Jesus answered and said, O faithless and 17 perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.

AND Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed | 18 out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.

THEN came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, |19 Why could not we cast him out?

AND Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

ND when they were come to Capernaum, they A that received tribute money came to Peter,

and said, Doth not your master pay tribute? 25 HE SAITH, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?

26 PETER saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.

27 NOTWITHSTANDING, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

A that he passed through the midst of Samaria

and Galilee.

AND as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: 13 AND they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

14 AND when he saw them, he said unto them, Go

AND one of them, when he saw that he was 15 healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

AND fell down on his face at his feet, giving him 16 thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

AND Jesus answering said, Were there not ten 17 cleansed? but where are the nine?

THERE are not found that returned to give glory 18 to God, save this stranger.

AND he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy 19 faith hath made thee whole.

Aaabindus Passes birth
ND as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which

AND his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who
did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was
born blind?

JESUS answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

I MUST work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

AS LONG as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
