TABLE Of the most remarkable elevations measured in the interior of New Spain. The work published with the title of Nivellement barometrique fait dans les Regions Equinoxiales du Nouveau Continent, in 1799-1804, contains more than two hundred points in the interior of New Spain, of which I determined the elevation above the level of the sea, either by the barometer, or by trigonometrical methods. We have merely inserted in the following table the absolute heights of the most remarkable mountains and cities. The points marked with an asterisk are doubtful.
