As to securing new members....... 181997 CONSTITUTION OF THE Ohio Electric Light Association. ASSOCIATION ORGANIZED MAY 21, 1895. I. 1. The name of this Association shall be The Ohio Electric Light Association. II. 1. Its object shall be to foster and promote the common interests of its members, and to advance scientific and practical knowledge in all matters relating to electric light and power companies; also to establish cordial and beneficial relations with kindred Associations, and between the manufacturers of electrical machinery and appliances and the members of this Association. It may render such assistance and advice to its members as may not be inconsistent with the purposes above expressed. III. MEMBERSHIP. 1. The membership of this Association shall comprise active and honorary members. 2. Any company, firm or Association, conducting the business of electric lighting in the State of Ohio, may become an active member. 3.
