Honour thy father and thy mother.

Thou shalt not kill.

Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Thou shalt not steal.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against

thy neighbour.

Thou shalt not covet anything that is thy neighbour's.

Thou shalt not raise a false report.

Put not thy hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.

Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil.

If thou meet thy enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.

Keep thee from a false matter.

Thou shalt not oppress a stranger.

Thou shalt do no unrighteousness in judgment.

Thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty;

but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer.

Thou shalt do no unrighteousness in judgment, in weight, or in measure.

Thou shalt not respect persons in judgment; but thou shalt hear the small as well as the great. Thou shalt not be afraid of the face of man.

When thou art in tribulation and evil things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and will be obedient unto his voice, (for the Lord thy God is a merciful God,) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee.

The Lord our God is one Lord, and thou shalt love him with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Thou shalt diligently keep the commandments of the Lord thy God: and thou

shalt do that which is right and good in

his sight.

When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the Lord thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.

Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God in not keeping his commandments; lest, when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein, and when thy flocks and thy herds multiply, and thy silver and thy gold, and all that thou hast is multiplied, then thy heart be lifted up, and thou forget the Lord thy God, and thou say in thy heart, My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth. But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God, for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth.

Be thou obedient unto the voice of the Lord thy God.

And now, what doth the Lord thy God. require of thee, but to fear him, to walk in

all his ways, and to love him, and to serve him with all thy heart, and with all thy soul.

Therefore, thou shalt lay up his commandments in thy heart, and in thy soul, and thou shalt teach them thy children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou

risest up.

If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren, thou shalt not harden thy heart, nor shut thy hand from thy poor brother; but thou shalt open thy hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need.

Thou shalt not oppress a hired servant that is poor and needy. At his day shalt thou give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and

setteth his heart upon it.

If thou wilt not observe to do the law of

the Lord thy God, then thy life shall hang

in doubt before thee, and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life. In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear 2 of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for

the sight of thine eye which thou shalt see. The commandment of the Lord thy God is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. It is not in heaven that thou shouldst say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and may have it?

bring it unto us, that we

Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldst say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it? But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayst do it.

2 For the misery, the consequence of sin, which thou shalt fear and see.
