APPENDIX II SUBJECTS OF STATE AND FEDERAL LEGISLATION Congress and the various state legislatures have passed a large number of laws affecting business. The lists below are avowedly incomplete and merely for the purpose of calling attention to the subject-matter of the more important legislation. It should perhaps be mentioned that a multitude of provisions of this sort are incorporated in some of the more recent state constitutions.
