This Service is especially arranged to precede, if_so desired, the Celebration of the Holy Communion. The people being in their accustomed places, the Minister shall reverently recite these Sentences.

I saw the Lord sitting upon a Throne, high and lifted up, and His train filled the Temple. Above it stood the Seraphim and one cried unto another and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of His glory.

:

And I heard a voice from Heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps and they sang as it were а new Song before the Throne. Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

Antiphon.

Minister and People.

Holy, Blessed, Gracious God,
Light of the immeasurable Universe,

True Sun of every soul;
We look to Thee,

And find in Thee the meaning of all mystery.
Shine forth in all the glory of Thine excellence
And in Thy light shall we see light,
As did Thy saints of old, what time
Thy candle shined upon their head,
And they walked through darkness
As in the secret glory of Thy presence.
Thou hast made us for Thyself,
Thou hast called us by Thy Name;
Send out Thy light and truth, O Lord,
And we will follow Thee.

Then shall all sing,

Trinitas Beata.

Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to
Thee:

Holy, Holy, Holy! merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!

Holy, Holy, Holy! all the Saints adore Thee, Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;

Cherubim and Seraphim falling down before Thee

Which wert, and art, and evermore shalt be.

Holy, Holy, Holy! though the darkness hide Thee,

Though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may

not see,

Only Thou art holy; there is none beside Thee, Perfect in power, in love, and purity.

Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty,
All thy works shall praise Thy Name, in
earth, and sky, and sea;

Holy, Holy, Holy! merciful and mighty!
God in Three Persons, Blessed Trinity!

Here shall follow the Lesson, the Minister saying, The lesson is from the Book of Psalms, the one hundred and fourth psalm. And at the close, Here endeth the Lesson.

The Lesson.

After the Lesson shall be sung this or some other appropriate anthem or hymn.

Te Deum Laudamus.

We praise Thee, O God we acknowledge Thee to be the Lord.

All the Earth doth worship Thee the Father everlasting.

To Thee all Angels cry aloud the Heavens and all the Powers therein.

To Thee Cherubim and Seraphim continually do cry,

Holy, holy, holy : Lord God of Saboath,

Heaven and Earth are full of the majesty: of Thy glory.

The glorious company of the Apostles: praise Thee.

The goodly fellowship of the Prophets : praise Thee.

The noble army of Martyrs praise Thee.
