AN ACT

To dissolve the marriage contract between Sarah H. Roper and William Roper.

Be it enacted by the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wisconsin:

SECTION 1. That the marriage contract heretofore existing between Sarah H. Roper and William Roper be, and the same is hereby dissolved, and the parties to the said contract are by virtue of this act restored to all the rights and privileges of unmar

AN ACT

To divorce Stewart McKee from his wife Eliza McKee.

Be it enacted by the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wisconsin:

SECTION 1. That the marriage contract heretofore existing between Stewart McKee and his wife Eliza McKee be, and the same is hereby dissolved, and the parties to the said contract are by virtue of this act restored to all the rights and privileges of unmarried persons.

AN ACT

Providing compensation to the agent of the territory for locating the university lands.

Be it enacted by the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wisconsin :

SECTION 1. That the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars be, and the same is hereby appropriated to N. F. Hyer, the agent

heretofore appointed, to complete the location of the university lands, in full compensation for his services by virtue of his said appointment, one-half thereof to be paid down, and the balance when the work shall have been finally completed and approved by the secretary of the treasury; and the auditor of the territory is hereby required to issue his warrants on the treasury, in accordance with this act.

AN ACT

Relating to an alley in the village of Southport.

Be it enacted by the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wisconsin:

SECTION 1. That the alley dividing block number eight, in Nichols' & Holmes' addition to the village of Southport, be, and the same is hereby vacated.

AN ACT

Granting to Thomas Noyes and Nathan H. Strong the right to keep and maintain a ferry across Fox river at Strong's landing, in the county of Marquette.

Be it enacted by the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wisconsin:

SECTION 1. That Thomas Noyes and Nathan H. Strong, their heirs, executors, administrators, or assigns, shall have the exclusive right and privilege, for the period of ten years, of keeping and maintaining a ferry across the Fox river, at Strong's landing, in the county of Marquette, subject to such regulations as other ferries are or may by law be subject to, fixing the rates of toll, and the manner in which licensed ferries shall be kept and attended to.

SEC. 2. This act may be amended or repealed by any future legislature of the territory or state of Wisconsin.
