Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of W. H. Powell, late brigadier-general and brevet major-general of volunteers, at the rate of seventy-two dollars per month, in lieu of a pension which he now receives. Approved, February 24, 1891.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Daniel Ullman, late brevet major-general in the Army of the United States, at the rate of seventy-two dollars a month.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary William M. Robinof the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized to place the name of sop William M. Robinson, late of Company F, of Mounted Riflemen Regiment Regulars, United States Army, war with Mexico, on the pension rolls, at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month. CHAP. 302.-An act for the relief of the legal representatives of Peter Lyle, deceased.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, directed to pay, out of the proper appropriation for payment of invalid pensions, to Vincent P. Donnelly, administrator of Peter Lyle, deceased, the sum of three thousand seven hundred and twenty-four dollars. Approved, February 25, 1891.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary Margaret Constable. of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll the name of Margaret Constable, widow of Captain David C. Constable, late of the Revenue-Marine Service of the United States, who was wounded in action on the James River in eighteen hundred and sixty-two, at the rate of thirty dollars per month.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary Coplin McKelvey. of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll the name of Coplin McKelvey, late a private in Captain Cheny's company of Tennessee Volunteers in the Florida war, at the rate of twelve dollars per month. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary Nancy Potter. of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, the name of Nancy Potter, widow of Uriah Potter, fate surgeon of the board of enrollment for the eighteenth Congressional district of New York, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Montgomery Geiger. United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll the name of Montgomery Geiger, of the county of Lincoln and State of Missouri, a private in Company B. of Powell's Battalion, Mexican war, and pay him a pension of twenty dollars per month from and after the passage of this act.

Wright, of Audrain County, in the State of Missouri, and pay him a pension of twelve dollars per month.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the John Gallagher, alias United Stat of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll the name of John Gallagher, who, under the name of John Gunner, served five years as a soldier in the Florida war in Company I, Third Regiment United States Artillery, and to pay said Gallagher twelve dollars per month.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Henry W. Goodnight. United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Henry W. Goodnight, late a private in Company H. of the Seventy-second Regiment of Enrolled Missouri Militia, and to pay him a pension from and after the passage of this act.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and hereby is, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Mrs. G. W. Griffith, of Fayette County, Georgia, widow of G. W. Griffith, a private in the Creek Indian war of eighteen hundred and thirty-six, and who was a member of Captain James Sanford's company, Georgia troops. Approved, February 25, 1891.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary John McGregor. of the Interior is hereby authorized to place the name of John McGregor, son of Murdock McGregor, late a private in Seventh Battery of Indian Light Artillery Volunteers, who was killed in the battle of Stone River on December thirty first, eighteen hundred and sixty-two, upon the pension-rolls, at the rate of eighteen dollars per month; and as the said John McGregor is of unsound mind, wholly incapable of managing his estate, that such pension be made payable to legally qualified guardian, Jackson Wills, of Greenfield, Indiana, or his legal successors in the trust.

Atkinson United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and hereby is, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Mrs. Lydia N. Atkinson, of Fulton County, Georgia, whose husband, W. D. Atkinson, was a private soldier in Captain W. C. Dawson's company in the Creek Indian war of eighteen hundred and thirty-six, and allow her a pension at eight dollars per month.
