HIS Gazette contains an Order in Council, relative to a scheme, duly prepared by the Ecclesiastical Commissioners for England, for constituting a separate district for spiritual purposes out of the parishes of Kenwyn and Kea, and the district of Chacewater, all in the county of Cornwall, and in the diocese of Exeter, and that the same shall be named, "The District of Baldhu."

This Gazette also contains an Order in Council, relative to a scheme, duly prepared by the Ecclesiastical Commissioners for England, for constituting a separate district for spiritual purposes out of the parish of Camborne, in the county of Cornwall, and in the diocese of Exeter, and that the same shall be named, "The District of Penponds."

His Royal Highness Prince Albert has been pleased to appoint Lieutenant Colonel the Honourable Charles Beaumont Phipps to be Private Secretary to His Royal Highness, in the room of George Edward Anson, Esq. resigned.

The Queen has been pleased to appoint Colonel the Honourable Sir Edward Cust, K. C. H. to be Her Majesty's Master of the Ceremonies, in the room of Sir Robert Chester, Knt. resigned.

The Queen has been pleased to appoint Lieutenant Colonel William-Henry Cornwall to be Her Majesty's Assistant Master of the Ceremonies, in the room of Colonel the Honourable Sir Edward Cust, K. C. H. promoted.

The Queen has been pleased to appoint the Honourable Spencer Lyttelton to be Her Majesty's Marshal of the Ceremonies, in the room of Lieutenant Colonel William-Henry Cornwall, promoted.

The Queen, taking into Her royal consideration that, upon the decease of Archibald late Marquess of Ailsa, Knight of the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle (which happened on or about the 8th day of September last), the title and dignity of Marquess of Ailsa devolved upon his grandson and heir Archibald now Marquess of Ailsa, as eldest son and heir of Archibald Kennedy, Esq. commonly called Earl of Cassillis, whilst living the son and heir apparent of the said Archibald late Marquess of Ailsa, and that, according to the ordinary rules of honour, the brothers and sister of the said Archibald now Marquess of Ailsa cannot enjoy that place and precedence which would have been due to them in case their late father the said Archibald Kennedy, commonly called Earl of Cassillis, had survived his father the said Archibald late Marquess of Ailsa, and had thereby succeeded to the title and dignity of Marquess of Ailsa, Her Majesty has been pleased to ordain and declare, that David Kennedy, Esq. Gilbert Kennedy, Esq. William Kennedy, Esq. Fergus Kennedy, Esq. Nigel Kennedy, Esq. and Dame Hannah-Eleanor, wife of Sir John Andrew Cathcart, of Carleton, in the shire of Ayr, Bart. the younger sons and daughter of the said Archibald Kennedy, commonly called Earl of Cassillis, and brothers and sister of the said Archibald now Marquess of Ailsa, shall henceforth have, hold, and enjoy the same titles, place, pre-eminence, and precedence, as if their said late father had survived his father Archibald late Marquess of Ailsa, and had thereby succeeded to the said title and dignity of Marquess of Ailsa :
