vaults and graves, no more than one body to be buried in any grave in the Cambridge Heath and North-east London Cemetery; and burials to be wholly discontinued therein from and after the first of October, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-five. ST. NICHOLAS DEPTFORD. - In the churchyard and burial-ground, from and after the first of April, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-four. In the vaults under the church to cease immediately. ST. PAUL DEPTFORD.Under the church to be wholly discontinued, as also in that part of the churchyard which has already been buried in: no burial to take place in future at a less distance than ten yards from any dwelling-house; no more than one body to be buried in one grave; and burials to be wholly discontinued from and after the first May, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-four. In the burial-ground of, and in the vaults under, the High-street Chapel; in the burial-ground of and under the Wesleyan Chapel, Mary Ann's-buildings; in the Quaker Burial-ground; and in the General Baptist Burial-ground, Church-street, to be wholly discontinued from and after the said ninth of January next. HOLY TRINITY BROMPTON. -In the vaults under the church to be wholly discontinued; in the churchyard not more than

one body to be buried in any grave, except in private vaults and graves, and burials wholly to cease from and after the first of October, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-nine. LAMBETH.-In Stockwell New Chapel burial-ground. ST. PANCRAS-With the exception of private vaults and graves, not more than one body to be buried in any grave in Camden Town Cemetery, belonging to the parish of ST. MARTIN-IN-THE-FIELDS, and situate in the parish of St. Pancras; and no burials to take place within ten yards of any inhabited house; and wholly to cease in the said cemetery from and after the first of May, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-six.

Also ST. MARYLEBONE.-In the vaults under the Parish Church, St. John's Wood Chapel, Christchurch, and Trinity Church; and in the vaults under the Baptist Chapel, in Blandford-street, to be wholly discontinued. ST. LUKE MIDDLESEX. -In the burial-ground of and under the City Road Chapel. In Bunhill Fields Burial-ground, to be wholly discontinued. ST. MARY STRATFORD, Bow-In the vaults under the church, to be discontinued at once; and in the churchyard of the same, from and after the first day of May, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-four, and only one body to be buried in each grave. STEPNEY.— In the East London Cemetery, in the hamlet of Mile End, Old Town. In the vaults under Brunswick Chapel, Mile End-road, to be wholly discontinued. WANDSWORTH-In the churchyard and church vault of the parish church, and in East Hill Burial-ground, to cease wholly; and only one body to be buried in each grave in the burialground in Garratt-lane. ST. STEPHEN COLEMANSTREET-In the burial-ground of, and in the vaults under, the Roman Catholic Chapel, in Moorfields, to be wholly discontinued. PUTNEY.-In the

churchyard and under the parish church, to be discontinued at once; and in Putney Burial-ground, from and after the first day of June, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-four.

The QUEEN'S Most Excellent Majesty in Council was pleased to order that the representations made by the Right Honourable Viscount Palmerston, one of Her Majesty's Principal Secretaries of State (as set forth in this Gazette) for the discontinuance of burials in the following places, viz:--

CHARLTON, KENT.-To cease in the church and churchyard of St. Luke's, from and after the first of May, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-four; with the exception of private vaults and graves, no more than one body to be buried in any grave in the churchyards of St. Thomas and St. Luke. ST. PAUL, CLAPHAM.-No burial to take place in the churchyard within ten yards of any dwelling-house, and wholly to cease in the vaults under the church at once, and in the churchyard from and after the first of March, one thousand eight hundred and fiftyfour. ALL SAINTS, POPLAR.-Not more than one body to be buried in each grave in Poplar Chapel Burial-ground; and burials therein wholly to cease from and after the fourteenth of September, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-five. HACKNEY.-Not more than one body to be buried in any grave, excepting in private vaults and graves, in West Hackney Churchyard. Burials to cease, with the exception of private vaults and graves, in South Hackney

Burial-ground; and, with the same exception, not more than one body to be buried in any grave in South Hackney Churchyard, and no burial to take place within fifteen yards of any dwelling-house. No burial to take place in the churchyard of St. Barnabas, Homerton, at less distance than five yards from the wall enclosing the ground, and not more than one body to be buried in any grave therein. With the same reservation burials to be discontinued in that part of the churchyard of St. John Hackney which has already been buried in; with the same exception, not more than one body to be buried in any grave in the churchyard, and no burials to take place in future within fifteen yards of any dwelling-house. Burials to cease in the burial-ground of Mare-street Baptist Chapel, and also under the chapel. Not more than one body to be buried in each grave (except in private vaults and graves) in St. Thomas-square Burial-ground; and burials to cease entirely therein from and after the first of January, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-five. burial-ground of Cheshunt College Chapel. Bridgwater.-Burials in the church and churchyards of St. Mary, and of the Holy Trinity, and in the burial-ground of Zion Independent Chapel; and in the Baptist Chapel Burial-ground; and in the Unitarian Burialground, all in the parish of St. Mary; and also in the burial-ground of the Mariners' Chapel, in St. John, Eastover, to be wholly discontinued from and after the first of February, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-four; and in the mean time not more than one body to be buried in each grave in any of the above places. EDMONTON.-Burials in the burial-ground of Weld Chapel, Southgate, to cease from and after the first of April, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-four, and burials in the vaults under the chapel to be discontinued forthwith. GATESHEAD.-Burials to be wholly discontinued in the churchyard of St. Mary. GRAYS THURROCK. -Burials to cease from and after the first of April, one thousand eight hundred and fiftyfour, in the churchyard and in the vaults and graves under the church. NEWCASTLE-ONTYNE.-Burials to cease forthwith in the church and churchyard of St. Nicholas, in the churchyard of All Saints, and in the Quakers' Burialground, Pilgrim-street. Not more than one body to be buried in any grave in the churchyard of St. Ann's, and burials to cease entirely therein from and after the first of January, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-five. Burials to be discontinued in St. John's Churchyard, and, except in private vaults and graves, not more than one body to be buried in each grave in St. Paul's Churchyard, and burials wholly to cease therein from and after the first of May,
