For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. The occasion of this psalm was probably the great deliverance of Israel from the Moabites and Ammonites recorded in 2 Chr. 20:1-30. All nations called upon to praise Christ as their King. I Shout unto God with the voice of triumph. Verse 5. 2 For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth. Ps. 98.
