Ps LXXXVII. Title; Korah, see Ps. 42, title, n. 3 Rahab, i. e. Egypt. See Is. 51:9. "Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites" (Acts 2:9), prefigured by Babylon. Egypt, and the parts of Libya about Cyrene" (Acts 2:10), by Rahab. 3, 4 Egypt was at this time" (the reign of Hezekiah) united in its interests with Palestine, both countries being endangered by the power and ambition of Assyria. Ethiopia was closely associated with Egypt, and Tirhakah king of the Ethiopians (Is. 37:9) was against Sennacherib. Moreover, after the destruction of Sennacherib's host, the princes of Babylon sent ambassadors to Hezekiah (2 Chr. 32:31), and the king of Babylon sent a present to him on the occasion of his sickness (2 Kin. 20:12)."—Jennings and Lowe. "As Isaiah had foretold (14:29), Hezekiah subdued the Philistines (2 Kin. 18:8). This was a token that the Lord 'had founded Zion.'"-Plumptre.

See Zech. 8:20-23. "Other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd " S. Jo. 10:16.
