PSALM 89.

A Song of Instruction of Ethan the Ezrahite.

This psalm probably refers to the time of Rehoboam, when Judah was invaded, and Jerusalem itself was pillaged by Shishak King of Egypt. 2 Chr. 12:1-9.

God's wonderful protection of His chosen people. "ALL THE SPRINGS OF LIFE, HOPE, AND JOY TO THE CHURCH ARE IN THE INCARNATION OF CHRIST OF THE SEED OF DAVID, AND IN THE DIVINE PROMISE TO HIM OF A PERPETUAL AND UNIVERSAL DOMINION.
