-Nouveaux Principes d'Economie politique, ou de la richesse dans ses rapports avec la population. Paris, 1827, 2 vols. 8vo. "The object of this work, (says the author) is to develope and establish the principles of Adam Smith. * Upon the whole, we do not think M. de Sismondi has succeeded in his

object.

Brunet mentions this as the best edition of Vatel's wellknown work. A later edition was published in Paris, in 1820, 2 vols. 8vo.
