Comfort his heart with the assurance of Thy continual presence; Direct him in his words and doings, and prosper him in all his labours; that he may accomplish the work committed to him, and be brought back in Thy grace

and peace. Of Thy great mercy keep this Thy Church and congregation in his absence, and vouchsafe Thy presence also unto Thy servant ministering in his place, that Thy people may be defended from every invasion of the enemy, and sustained with the consolations of Thy heavenly grace. R. Amen.
