Thomas Macy was an original settler of Salisbury, Mass., and with nine others purchased the island of Nantucket in 1659. He married Sarah Hopcott (1612-1706) and they had nine children. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, New Jersey, Illinois, Rhode Island, Cuba and elsewhere. |
