THE MEDICI PRINTS

THE Medici Society, Ltd., was registered as a strictly Private Company, in June, 1908, by certain gentlemen interested in the Arts, who desired to bring within reach of all purses more accurate reproductions, in colour, of selected works by the Great Masters, than had ever before been available.

The Society ventures to claim that it has already justified its existence. When in 1906 the first Medici Prints were experimentally issued, no less an authority than the "Burlington Magazine" laid it down that: "Nothing of the kind so good and so cheap has ever been issued before." In 1912 the same critical organ declared that the Prints "maintain their previous high level of excellence and, indeed, sometimes surpass it."

Over one hundred and fifty Medici Prints are now published, at prices ranging from 6s. to 40s. Among the Prints recently issued are:
