The Morrison Family of the Rocky River Settlement of North Carolina; History and Genealogy1950 - 543 էջ Not much is known about John Morrison (d. 1777) and his family. He is said to be the youngest brother and to have returned to Scotland from Pennsylvania and married a relative, Mary Morrison (d. 1781). They had nine children. The family was living in North Carolina by 1766. He died as a result of wounds received in a Revolutionary War skirmish. His will is recorded in Mecklenburg County. Known descendants lived in North Carolina and elsewhere. |
