SCRIPTURE account of the CIRCUMSTANCES,

and of the EFFICACY of Christ'S DEATH; —with suitable prayers: containing

1. An historical relation of the sufferings and death of our blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; with a prayer for a participation in the benefits of His sufferings and death.-2. Scripture proofs that the death of our Saviour Christ upon the cross was a true and proper sacrifice offered up by Him for the atonement of sin, and accepted by the Father as a full satisfaction, in the behalf of all those who shall comply with the terms of the new covenant in His blood ; with a thanksgiving for the propitiation of Christ's death.
